Vaginal Rejuvenation

Feel younger. Everywhere.

During menopause, many women experience discomfort related to hormonal tissue changes in the vaginal tract. Decreasing oestrogen levels thin and dry out the vaginal mucosa. This can lead to itching, burning and possibly also pain during sexual intercourse. The vaginal relaxation syndrome results in reduced elasticity and resilience in the vaginal canal.

Possible triggers are the stretching processes during pregnancy and birth. The result is a reduced sensation during sexual intercourse. Stress incontinence is the result of a decrease in the supporting function of the tissue in the area of the pelvis. This can be caused by tissue injuries during natural births.

The painless Juliet laser technology reduces the symptoms of dryness and the vaginal relaxation syndrome. We can also alleviate problems caused by stress incontinence using this laser technique. In order to be able to respond optimally to individual issues, the treatment is carried out by our specialist for gynaecology. Within the framework of a detailed anamnesis our specialist invests a lot of time discreetly discussing intimate questions and your personal expectations of the treatment.

Your questions. Our answers.

What effects does the Juliet laser treatment have?

The vaginal laser treatment regulates the connective tissue metabolism and specifically stimulates the formation of collagen and firming fibres. The inner vaginal mucosa is thickened and regains elasticity. In addition, blood circulation in the vaginal mucosa improves and its moisture content increases.

How does the treatment work?

The Juliet vaginal handpiece of the Erbium YAG laser, which resembles an ultrasound handpiece, is inserted into the vaginal canal. The entire vaginal canal is treated with the rotating laser head over a period of about 15 minutes.

How many treatments are necessary?

Patients often experience improvements after just one treatment. We recommend about two treatments, separated by four to six weeks.

What preliminary examinations are necessary?

Before laser treatment for vulvovaginal atrophy, we take swabs to rule out the occurrence of malignant cell changes in the vaginal canal and uterus. In laser treatment for lichen sclerosus et atrophicus(a degenerative change of the skin of the female genital area with tissue hardening), we confirm the diagnosis histologically beforehand.

Is the treatment painful and what should be considered afterwards?

No, there is only a feeling of warmth. For three days you should refrain from sexual intercourse, sports and should not visit a swimming pool or sauna.

What does the treatment cost?

The treatment costs start at approximately 400 EUR per session.
