Stimulation and natural regeneration for your skin with EMFACE®
It is completely natural that our bodies are subject to a natural structural degradation process. Equally natural is our patients’ desire to address this process using the possibilities of dermatological science. For the gradual loss of facial contours, we therefore wish to offer you a procedure in our private practice in Hamburg with EMFACE® that supports skin and tissue structure through a natural mechanism of action – completely without needles, artificial volume augmentation, or surgical lifting.
To this end, the treatment combines synchronized radiofrequency with HIFES™ muscle stimulation, thereby addressing two levels that play an important role in facial contouring and skin quality: the dermal remodeling processes of the skin as well as the muscular tension of selected facial lifting structures.
If you are looking for a non-invasive treatment that considers the skin, tissue, and facial muscles together, we would be happy to advise you personally.
Achieving skin longevity with EMFACE® – Your treatment procedure
At the beginning, we evaluate whether the procedure is suitable for your skin appearance, tissue quality, and treatment goal. This also involves realistically assessing whether a standalone treatment is appropriate or if it should be combined with other procedures.
Before starting the treatment, we thoroughly cleanse the skin areas on the forehead and cheeks. To guarantee the unrestricted conductivity of the impulses, makeup, residues of skincare products, and bothersome fine hairs must be completely removed.
The application is performed via external, ergonomically shaped disposable applicators. These self-adhesive pads are precisely placed on the forehead and over the cheekbones, and thus exactly over the anatomical lifting muscles of the face.
During the twenty-minute session, the system emits synchronized radiofrequency and electromagnetic energy. You will experience intensive, deep-acting warmth as well as a rhythmic, painless sensation of contraction in the targeted mimetic muscles.
After gently removing the applicators, the session is concluded for you. Since the skin surface remains completely intact and no anesthesia was necessary, no aftercare is required. You can leave the practice immediately without restrictions and continue your daily routine.
We usually recommend four sessions at intervals of 5–10 days. The effects do not appear abruptly but develop over several weeks, as dermal remodeling processes and muscular adaptations require time due to the natural mode of action.

For whom EMFACE® is particularly interesting
For our patients in Hamburg, EMFACE® is of particular interest when they notice initial changes in skin tension and facial contours but do not wish for an invasive treatment and value natural results within the framework of skin longevity.
We use it, among other things, as follows:
- Sagging facial contours: Especially in the area of the cheeks, midface, and facial lifting structures, the treatment can be an option when contours appear softer, without an surgical procedure being desired or appropriate yet.
- Fine lines and reduced skin elasticity: Through the combination of radiofrequency and HIFES™ muscle stimulation, we aim to support skin quality, elasticity, and tissue tension via biological remodeling processes.
- Desire for a natural development: For our patients who do not want injections, volume augmentation, or surgical lifting, we offer a suitable option, including within the framework of our medically planned skin longevity concept.
- Supplement to existing aesthetic concepts: The treatment can also be interesting when other procedures such as botulinum toxin, biostimulators, PRP, polynucleotides, laser therapies, or medical skincare are already meaningfully incorporated.
Medical limits and contraindications
Although this is a purely external, non-invasive procedure, there are clear medical exclusion criteria for which application is contraindicated.
A treatment must not be performed in cases of:
- Metallic or electronic implants in the immediate treatment area on the forehead or cheeks (including piercings).
- Pacemakers, defibrillators, or implanted neurostimulators in the body.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding (for preventive reasons due to a lack of specific clinical data for these phases).
- Acute skin diseases, bacterial infections, or open wounds on the face (these must be completely healed beforehand).
- Active neurological diseases in the head and neck area, such as acute facial palsy.
Your EMFACE® appointment in Hamburg – The combination of innovation and natural aesthetics
The treatment offers a technological answer to our patients’ need for effective yet gentle facial rejuvenation. However, the decisive factor is not just the procedure itself, but the medical assessment of whether the combined impulse of synchronized radiofrequency and HIFES™ muscle stimulation matches your condition and your personal treatment goals.
In our dermatological private practice in Hamburg, we therefore view EMFACE® as part of a medically planned skin longevity concept. Depending on skin appearance, muscle tension, facial expressions, and tissue quality, the treatment is used independently or combined with other dermatological-aesthetic procedures.
If you would like to find out whether the procedure is suitable for your skin, facial contours, and your desired treatment result, we would be happy to advise you personally.
