The novel GENIUS procedure combines two successful treatment methods for skin tightening and smoothing: microneedling and radiofrequency. Microneedling radiofrequency therapy stimulates the regeneration of collagen and
stimulates the formation of new collagen and elastin and sustainably optimizes the skin structure. Areas of application include the face, neck, décolleté, arms, abdomen, knees and thighs. Your skin becomes visibly firmer and tighter, fine lines are filled from the depths.

During the treatment, in which the innovative GENIUS technology protects the upper layer of the skin, gold-plated microneedles conduct thermal energy into the dermis. Here, the radiofrequency waves, as well as fine micro-penetrations, stimulate intense collagen- and elastin-forming fibroblast activity. Because the hyaluronic acid content of the skin also increases measurably, it is visibly better moisturized afterwards. The depth of the micro-penetrations and the number of treatments are individually tailored to the skin condition and desired goals of our patients. What does microneedling radiofrequency treatment do?

Just one application leaves the skin visibly firmer and smoother, with a radiant complexion. Dermal structures are renewed and compacted, and the treatment also optimizes the water storage capacity of the dermis.

When is microneedling with radiofrequency recommended?

In the treatment of scars and acne scars, to refine the appearance of the skin and to reduce the size of pores. Fine wrinkles are reduced and the general skin tightening is promoted.

Is radiofrequency microneedling painful? Is the skin numbed?

State-of-the-art microneedling radiofrequency devices, such as the GENIUS we use, are designed to ensure a uniformly painless treatment. Nevertheless, we apply anesthetic cream 20 minutes beforehand to make the treatment as relaxed as possible.

Is there anything to be considered before the treatment?

The procedure is not suitable for skin blemishes, active acne or herpes infections.

How do you look after the treatment and what do you need to pay attention to?

Initially, the skin is reddened, and in the first days after radiofrequency microneedling, fine scaling occurs. Rarely, micro-inflammations and small crusts may form. Against this, in the last step we apply a fatty cream with anti-inflammatory effect and recommend it also for one or two days at home. After the treatment there is an increased sensitivity to the sun. A day care with high light protection is obligatory.

How often should the treatment be performed?

For optimal results, we recommend four to six treatments, each two to four weeks apart.
