Scar Treatment – Gentle and Advanced Procedures for Scar Reduction

Every scar tells a story. However, many people prefer a smoother skin surface and find prominent, hardened or painful scars disturbing. In our dermatology practice in Hamburg, we offer a wide range of scar treatment options in addition to surgical scar correction.

To make a scar flatter and softer, we use intradermal steroid injections and often see visible improvement after just one session. Raised (hypertrophic) scars can also be gently ablated using a CO₂ laser. Depressed scars are treated with hyaluronic acid fillers to lift the skin level, while skin boosters refine the overall texture.

At Pro Skin Solutions, we also offer cosmetic microneedling (Genius): the controlled micro-injuries trigger natural wound-healing responses, stimulating collagen synthesis and filling in small dermal scars. The collagen remodeling that occurs during this process softens and smooths the scar tissue for visibly refined skin.
